#HotelReview - Avenue J Hotel, Kuala Lumpur - Queen Room with Window

AvenueJ Hotel is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. I had stayed here for 2 nights during #AboutKL programme. During my stayed, AvenueJ Hotel just opened their business (2016). And here is my score for the AvenueJ Hotel:

What I Loves

LOBBY - I loves their lobby as its been nicely decorated. It’s simple and feels like home. You can find many books to read at the lobby.

 

LOCATION – It is located at the center of Kuala Lumpur, 5 minutes to walk to Merdeka Square or Chinatown or Little India. The nearest LRT station is Masjid Jamek compare to Pasar Seni. And just across the hotel, is one of the restaurant with full of history called Old Market Square. You should have your breakfast here. Good food! 7 eleven just 1 minutes walking from here.

ELEVATOR – Elevator provided in this hotel

BED – Very comfortable bed even though it is only 3 star hotel. They provided 4 pillows and 2 small pillows which is very thoughtful. I am the one who love to sleep with many pillow around me.

   

TOILETRIES – Love their toiletries. Using Eco Spa brand for their show gel, shampoo and lotion.  An oatmeal soap is a bonus point.

   

COMPLETE – Even though the room is small, but you can find everything inside, from the security locker, hair dryer, water heater, led TV and table light.

BUILDING – Nice architecture comparing to the surrounding.

   

WIFI – Their WIFI is good.

SECURITY – At night, there will be security guard at the entrance door.

STAFFS – As the lobby is open 24hours, you can ask any help with the staff at the reception. They are very helpful.

What I Didn’t Like

BREAKFAST – Basic breakfast provided such as cereals and bread. It’s remind me my breakfast at the backpacker hostel with only cost RM20-RM40 per night. With the price of the room around RM160+, I am sure the guest should get more variety of breakfast menu.

   

PARKING – I did not find any place to park the vehicle as this area is hard to get one. As I stayed here on 2016, I am not sure now maybe they have parking provided whoever want to travel using their own transport.

NO CUPBOARD -No cupboard provided in the room. Only cloth hanger provided.

BATHROOM – In the room, the bathroom wall is a glass. It is not very privacy. It should be okay if you are staying with your own partner. But if you with your friends, might be a problem but if you do not mind, forget about it.
