I decided to stay at Melia Hotel Kuala Lumpur as I really want to experience their room after renovation plus I only want to spend my time at Bukit Bintang at Berjaya Times Square.
So here is my score sheet. I will explain some of the point below.

Location
Their location is a bonus for traveler. In front of Berjaya Times Square, and next to the Imbi Monorail Station. So, no wonder this hotel is always full with Middle East guest. But bad news for you who drive, because it is always traffic jam around this hotel
Lobby
For 5 stars hotel, the hotel looks like 3-stars lobby and it is not grand like other hotel, plus the lobby is kind of small compare to other 5-stars.
Bell Services
Nobody care about me when I enter the hotel. Oh wait, I am a local.
Check-In
The check-in process ruin my mood so mad. So I arrived at hotel around 2pm, but they asked me to check-in at 3pm. So, I was OK with it as it is a normal procedure. During that time, I observed many foreigners especially from middle east checking in, BUT they get their room immediately. I think I am they only one waiting. All came later than me get their room.
At 3pm, so I went to the reception to check-in, unfortunately they said the room is not ready yet. They asked me to come at 4pm. I was disappointing that time, but I was still OK, as I was very hungry and I need my late lunch. So I decided to went to Berjaya Times Square.
At 5pm, 1 hour extra, I went to reception to get my room key. Unfortunately again the room was not ready. So I can't hold my anger anymore.
I don't know why, but they don't care about me as I am local and they priorities the foreigner. So bad. But after 10 minutes, their manager sorted it out and I get my room. Such a bad service.
Room
The room was spacious and the bed is very comfortable. No objection. Unfortunately, I was surprise they put the damaged iron in my room. That is so 5 star.
I love their amenities. My room opposite the Berjaya Times Square. I love their big window glass. And the room smelled "NEW".
Swimming Pool
Too small for this standard of hotel. I did not had any mood to jump to the pool. It look very sad pool.
Gym
Small but okay.
Breakfast
Love the staffs how they greeted me. I felt welcomes. The buffet spread was good. Unfortunately, I am not really a morning person.
Final Verdict
I don't mind to stay here again as their location is good. But if there is a problem during check-in again, I might probably ban this hotel near the future.
